Golden Dolphin Award in Düsseldorf
Publisher Alexandra Jahr asked all winners of this year's award to come on stage. Editor in chief, Carolyn Martin, presented the Golden Dolphins.

That’s really cool! Timmi managed to cover his farewell from JM in gold and looks really happy.

Anyway I am the best in smiling and laughing. Have the best reason for it!

Sabrina is reading out the speech to honour Timm right in the beginning of his farewell party.

Dear guests, dear staff and all the others,

Today we would like to honour a man who did not only reach big issues in scuba diving never the less also did important things for all of us personally – Timm!

He leads young and old the way to scuba diving since more then 16 years now. Some of his former students found their way to be instructors themselves and will meet Timm in one of the seven oceans of the world sooner or later.

Weather the coldness of Sweden, neither the humidity of the Far East or the merciless heat of the Sahara stopped him to discover the reefs of this world. During this long, but far too short, period of time, he stood by James’ side to support him in making the James & Mac diving centre to what is now.

With you we have been hunting dolphins and managed to bring quite a number home. There for I want to thank you in the name of all.

Apart from that he was always willing to listen to all minor or major problems of the everyday business. Without thinking of himself he spent half nights in the centre and was forced to drink the one or the other beer to find solutions….. . He always lightened our days up by entertaining us with singing, dancing, rhythmical beats and never ending jokes.

So he took a big part in keeping us in good mood all day long and we have always looked forward to working again the next morning.

To make a long story short: all of us will miss Timm! You will be missing in our days in which you are leaving a big gap. But for every door that’s closed in live there will be another one opened. We can not do more then wish that all your expectations, wishes and hopes are going to be fulfilled in the best possible way.

Your experience and your fresh appearance will flatten all the mountains in your way. So is nothing more left to us then following your way and wishing you all luck on earth!

And just when it starts to be funny and the first beer is ready to be drunken Mac is calling from Germany to delay the official good bye.

Boohhh, after Mac’s speech we will really go on to the comfortable part of the evening…

The enormous number of guests made it pretty difficult for us to fit everybody onto the photograph so we had to take the group photographs below.

I still wonder why the dude gives up his position as manager (best regards and many thanks again. Mac)…
